In celebration of African Heritage Month, we will be releasing this year’s iteration of Deep Rooted Brown Ale on Wednesday Feb 18th. Brewed in collaboration with Gio and O’Neil from Change is Brewing and Limestone Group, we are launching this beer to coincide with our annual BLK Joy event happening on Sunday the 22nd. Each year as part of the event we partner with a local African-Nova Scotian business or community to group to promote their work - this year, 50 cents from each can sold of Deep Rooted Brown Ale will be donated to the Black Beauty Culture Association.

The beer is a clear, copper brown ale fermented with house ale yeast and hopped with Triple Pearl hops grown in Quebec. The brown sugar and molasses give it a clean dryness and pleasant candy aroma. It is a great rich food pairing beer for this February weather!
